TAZO’s package design fascinates me
as well. Proper images and well-designed layouts put TAZO into a leading tea
brand of market. Compare to its old appearance, the redesigned packaging is more elegant and modernized. The secret,
from my perspective, is the simplicity. They eradicate the unauthentic elements such as
ambiguous language and gaudy decorations. Clear page layout and well written
descriptions illustrate the essence of product and accentuate the promise that
the brand stands for.
Following the basic design convention;
employing the innovative idea; showing authenticities to customers, TAZO exemplified a successful packaging.
I should learn from there.
It's interesting to compare this to something like Celestial Seasonings, which has a much busier and colorful (almost overwhelming) package design. The TAZO design is calm and clean in comparison.
